Utila Cays Diving, Jewel Cay, Utila, Honduras
Utila Cays Diving is a small scuba diving operation based out of the beautiful, old-world Utila Cays.
The Cays are a set of small islands only minutes from the South West side of Utila with a combined population of 400-500.
The location of the islands and lack of sand means it is possible to spend many evenings in hammocks watching the stars without being bothered by sand flies.
Due to their proximity to the sought after North Side of Utila – north side dive sites are the destination for Utila Cays Divers almost every time they leave their dock. Turtle Harbour on the north side is where the Cayman trench meets the volcanic island of Utila and depths here are in thousands of meters.
Turtle Harbour has a wide variety of diving – from shallow sand channels where nurse sharks hang out, to the no-bottom wall at Duppy Waters.
