Insects of Utila
There are a variety of insects on the island of Utila. Some sting and bite and make life a little uncomfortable especially for the new-comer, but others are fascinating and beautiful. As with birds, there are different seasons on Utila that attract different kinds of insects and in varying amounts. Moths, butterflies and dragon flies are particularly attractive.
