Utila Island Express - Now we have TWO Utila Ferrys!
Welcome to the UTILA ISLAND EXPRESS!
Utila now has a 2nd option for getting to La Ceiba or from La Ceiba to Utila!
Located behind Bush’s supermarket, the schedule for Fall (slow season) is as follows:
Slow seasons schedule:
- Depart: Utila-La Ceiba 8:00 am.
- Depart: La Ceiba-Utila 3:00 pm.
Utila Island Express Ferry Interior- there is a open back deck as well.
The Utila Island Express is a small 28 passenger boat that runs between Utila & La Ceiba. 2 gasoline engines,open back. Comfortable 50-55 minute ride to the mainland.
Our departure is from Bush’s Gas Station in Utila.
In La Ceiba, we depart from the Muelle Gran Marina.
